First checkup of the new year. Going to do my detail scan today.

What is detail scan? Basically, using ultra-sound scan to see whether baby is developing normally, any physical deform etc.

Our appointment is 11.45am.

Went Jimmy’s stall for breakfast. On the way there, our car butt-kissed by another car. Wayne is so angry, when he get down the car. The 1st sentence he told the uncle is ” his wife is pregnant!”

The car is fine, no problem. What worried him most is baby Keep asking me and baby OK?

He saw me so quiet and pale looking at Jimmy’s place, he faster rush down to the clinic. Actually, i was so worried no movement from baby after the impact.

Abit relieved when about to reach Thomson, baby start kicking again.

The scan result is good!

And the sonographer told us, is a girl.

Ok lah, at first we do feel abit disappointment. Nevertheless, she is still our baby we will still love her as much.

Wayne already thought of 1 Chinese name for her 恩慈 . But still not confirm yet. He say he going to choose a nice nice sweet sweet name for his daughter.

And i gonna work hard to find English name too.

The ticklish feeling starts

My little rabbit have been bouncing inside me since Monday.

Tml marks 20th weeks. So fast I’m halfway there already. 5 months.

Irritating security guards at work.
Monday guard no.1 : hello miss are you pregnant? Pregnant no need go through the metal detector.
Tuesday guard no.2 : hello, you need to follow the rules (go through the metal detector)
Wednesday guard no.3 : hello! (loud tone pointing to the detector!)

Grr! So irritating. I think I really need to super right fitting clothing to show my tummy.

Boxing Day

Waited for Wayne to knockoff at 4pm.
Yes he is working even on Christmas and Boxing day. In fact, he work everyday! Monday to Sunday.

He wanted to go buy toy to pamper himself this Christmas.
So we went Chinatown square, shop closed.
Went to do some charity, give angbao to a granny in 1 of the episode in 心情大动员.

Jimmy called. Meet them at Paradize center, lastly we settle our dinner at this small Thai Cafe at Sunshine Plaza. Cheap and the portion is big. We over-ordered and we end up bloated to the max.

Sorry some of the dishes, halfway into eating then i realized haven take photo yet. Total bill for 4 personless than $50 including white rice and beverages.

After dinner, we went Mind’s Cafe. At first Me, Wayne and Jimmy is so reluctantly to go but Jimmy’s Gf Janice is so enthusiasm about it. Not to damp her spirit, we went ahead.

The last game A la Carte is more funny than the Clue.

Where everybody get a set of miniature cooking pan and stove. We just need to cook according to ingredients and instruction on cards.

I won the 1st round and Jimmy the 2nd when he set the rule more challenging. We need to flip the cardboard pancake before we can proceed to the card dishes.

Everybody is looking at us.

 

Christmas’ Eve

Need to work no half day.
But we had fun giving out presents and chocolates.

Seeing baby in December

17 December, my WW16 checkup and company DnD day.

Went for breakfast at Jimmy’s Wanton stall before heading to Thomson Medical center.
My first time to TMC. Don’t look like hospital to me. Everywhere is flooded with pregnant mom and father-to-be.

1030am our appointment. I would prefer Dr Kee’s Thomson clinic more than Jurong point’s.
Dr Kee is so nice to do my blood test himself.
He is so cheerful that day cause he passed his Medical council criteria. Haha.
Ultra-sound scanning!
We were hoping to know the gender of littleBB. But BB closed his legs whereas the arms keep moving.

Having a baby is so expensive! 4 checkup, we already spent near to $1k.
Clinic called to inform my blood test result is very GOOD! Low risk for Down Syndrome.

Morning sickness

Morning sickness is back to hunt me after a 2 weeks break. Feel so awful after lunch.
Tried warm water, hot lemon tea, sour plum. No use at all!
